Wow! What a century!!
Thankfully, the Civil War is over and this nation shall never, EVER, enter into war, civil or otherwise. At least we learned our lesson.
This was also the century when I tried out the new kinescope experience. I find the flickering fascinating. But those other machines that take our daguerrotypes, I don't like. I don't want to smile when they pose us in front of. Why should I expose my brown teeth?
